BASIN-AND-PROJECTING CANDLESTAND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To float a candle which forms a light source on a water surface and produce a quiet and beautiful appearance by forming a projecting plate with a decoratively patterned background plate-and-projecting part on the rear raised wall part of a basin part body in a prescribed upward height range from the upper edge of the rear raised wall part integrally therewith or as an attachable and detachable different body. SOLUTION: A basin part body 1 has a substantially elliptic flat form, and it is formed into a basin having a raised wall part 11 formed over the whole circumference thereof in a prescribed height dimension and a flat bottom part. A projecting plate 2 with decoratively patterned background plate-and-projecting part which is integrally formed on the raised wall is set so as to be raised height than the raised wall 11, and made of an earthenware together with the basin part body 1. A picture pattern such as shell or coral is carved on the surface facing a basin part 12. A candle is floated on the water of the basin part 12, and the light which leaked backward through a projecting part 21 is projected on a rear wall 7 and the like to form an image with depth, which is charming to a person who views it.
