ARTICLE TRANSPORTING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable direct delivery with truck loading efficiency under the first-in first-out restriction that an article which is produced first is delivered first to a customer by classifying articles and directly delivering a large lot of articles. SOLUTION: A transportation destination and transportation quantity determination module 120411 of a distribution management center system 120 classifies produced items on the basis of data of an itemized sales quantity history table 120401 by regarding classification measures as sales quantities. The items are rearranged in the decreasing order of sales quantities; and, for example, 20% of all the items which are larger in sales quantities are regarded as A articles and the remaining items are regarded as B articles. When it is decided that items are a large lot of items having a large measure and the A articles, direct delivery to an area warehouse is indicated and when it is decided that the items are a small lot of items having a small measure, the transportation of all products stocked in a base warehouse is indicated; when the items are classified into the B articles this time, transportation to the base warehouse is indicated.
