Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of providing the suppository hardly causing increase of a melting point and having a strong structure by mixing a gelling agent with an oil and fat suppository substrate. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by mixing (A) an oil and fat suppository substrate (for example, a cacao butter and a lauric fat solid at a normal temperature) with (B) a gelling agent (for example, a light quality anhydrous silicic acid and a fatty acid ester of dextrin). The formulating amount of the component B is preferably 1-10 wt.% based on the amount of the component A. When the component B is mixed with the component A by using the light quality anhydrous silicic acid as the component B, the mixing is carried out by heating and melting the component A, gradually adding the light quality anhydrous silicic acid thereto and homogeneously mixing the added product. When the fatty acid ester of the dextrin is used as the component B, the mixing is carried out by previously heating and melting the component A, adding the fatty acid ester of the dextrin to the heated component A, homogeneously mixing the product, and heating the homogeneous product at 70 deg.C. Additionally, a medicine, e.g. steroid hormone and local anesthetic, can be formulated with the composition. |
