ROD-SHAPED ARTICLE HOLDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod-shaped article holder capable of being reduced in production cost. SOLUTION: This rod-shaped article holder 10 is equipped with a receiver 14 for holding a rod-shaped article 12, the protective cylinder 16 provided in the outer periphery of the rod-shaped article 12 and the case 18 housing the receiver 14 in a state impossible to relatively move axially and the protective cylinder 16 is made slidable with respect to the receiver 14 while it receives slide resistance from the receiver 14 and the case 18. The receiver 14 has a receiver main body and a holding piece 14b overhanging in a diameter direction from the receiver main body to axially protrude from the receiver main body to hold the rod-shaped article 12 and the side groove housing the holding piece 14b is formed to the inner peripheral surface of the center hole of the protective cylinder 16. Further, the protective cylinder 16 is brought into slide contact with the inner peripheral surface of the case 18 and a large number of engaging grooves axially spaced apart from each other are provided in the inner peripheral surface of the case while the protruding parts 14c engaged with the engaging grooves are provided to the protective cylinder 16.
