HINGE CAP EXCELLENT IN CLASSIFIED DISPOSABILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge cap wherein special problems may not occur in capping or removing a cap from a container mouth as well as in classified disposal and the hinge cap can be produced without need for an especially large metal molding or troublesome operations. SOLUTION: In the hinge cap comprising a cap body 1 having a top plate and a cylindrical side wall hanging from a periphery of the top plate and an upper lid 2 hinged to an upper end of the cylindrical side wall 6 of the cap body 1, a part of the cylindrical side wall 6 of the cap body 1 is divided into an internal side wall 6a and an external side wall 6b by a slit 30 extending toward from an upper end of the side wall while the internal side wall 6a and the external side wall 6b face each other at the part of the slit 30 but are integrally connected at lower parts and on both side parts with the upper lid 2 hinged to the upper end of the external side wall 6b.
