AIR BAG FOLDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple measure which can obtain the same effect without using a complex inflation regulation action. SOLUTION: This is a folding method in which a front base cloth 2 and a back base cloth 3 having an opening to which a gas generator 5 is inserted are made to overlap and its peripheral part is sewn to have an almost circular air bag for a passenger protecting device, and the peripheral part of an air bag 1 is wound from plural points to the center in the spiral state so that the front base cloth 2 is inside toward its center or its neighborhood to form an intermediate winding body 20, and then, the intermediate winding body 20 is further wound up to the back in the spiral state toward the center.
