APPARATUS FOR MAKING CASE AND MANUFACTURE OF CASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the increase of productivity of outer packages, the reduction of a manufacturing cost, the shortening of a lead time, the space-saving of a space for setting a manufacturing line, and the improvement of working environment by fully automating a manufacturing step of packaging case. SOLUTION: This apparatus for making a case by carrying out the working of folding the circumference of a sheet having a notch at each corner part thereof is provided with a case body folding mechanism 88 for folding the circumference of the above-mentioned sheet in one direction to make a case. The folding mechanism 88 is constituted by providing folding guide members 102, 106 which abut against the circumference of the underface of the sheet, and by which folding lines of the sheet are divided and decided, and a press mechanism 108 for pressing the vicinity of each corner at four sides of the upper face of the sheet, which are divided by the above-mentioned folding lines, in the other direction, and folding circumferential portions of the upper face of the sheet in one direction at the folding lines as a boundary to form the case from the sheet.
