Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good operating efficiency apparatus wherein for an apparatus for splitting a trunk of a cut living tree, it can be carried also in a comparatively narrow space, and an operation is simple. SOLUTION: A log is dripped by being put between a pusher 6 pushed with a driving hydraulic cylinder 13 and an edge body 14 opposed thereto. The pusher 6 is guided along a longitudinal direction of a long narrow frame 1, or guided along a long narrow elevator stand 5 rotatively supported at one end of the frame 1. The edge body 1 is provided by being fixed to the frame 1 opposed to the pusher 6. The edge body 14 can be made a cross-shaped one equipped with a vertical edge 15 and a horizontal edge extending left and right at its central position. In this case, in order to conform a center of the log to a horizontal cutting edge 16a, an elevator stand 5 is indispensable. The apparatus is carried onto a cutting site, the cut living tree is cut to a specific length, and put between the pusher 6 and the edge body 14. Oil pressure is supplied to the driving hydraulic cylinder 13, and the log is split by pushing a tip of the log to the edge body 14. |
