BINDING ROPE HOLDING APPARATUS IN KNOTTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus capable of preventing knotting miss by installing a rope hook, a rope-braking unit and a flexure-preventing unit in a rope case in which a rope cylinder composed of a binding rope is held and feeding the binding rope into a knotting apparatus through these units. SOLUTION: A rope case 36 internally holds a rope-cylinder B composed of a culm-binding rope A, etc., which is formed into a cylinder by winding. The objective apparatus is constructed by placing an upper rope hook 40a for holding the binding rope A at the upper part of the case, a rope-braking unit 41 for applying brake to the rope, a side hook 40b for holding the rope A at the side part and a flexure-preventing unit 42 for preventing the flexure of the rope A in the rope case 36, and the binding rope A is fed into a knotting apparatus through these units.
