ELECTRONIC COMPONENT MOUNTING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply an electronic component without stopping the drive of a component mounting robot and surely fix a component supply unit to a component supply table by permitting the component supply unit to be detachable with respect to a component supply table in the horizontal direction to the component supply table at the lower part in a shifting range of a mounting head. SOLUTION: A component supply unit 2 is permitted to be detachable to and from a component supply table 1 in the horizontal direction at the lower part in the shifting range of a mounting head 14. At the time of removing the component supply unit 2 from the component-mounting table 1, the unit 2 is horizontally shifted in a direction A shown by an arrow. At the time of mounting the component supply unit 2 on the component mounting table 1, the unit 2 is horizontally shifted in an opposite direction to the direction A. Although the mounting head 14 moves within a prescribed range as the component supply unit 2 shifts horizontally to the component supply table 1, the unit 2 is made detachable without passing through the prescribed range. To have the component supply unit 2 slidable in the direction horizontal with respect to the component supply table 1, a protruding groove 3 is formed on the component supply table 1.
