ELECTROMAGNETIC RELAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount an elastic body to a contact spring or a contact terminal plate without adhesion by holding the elastic body between the contact spring and the contact terminal plate to push the elastic body against a base at a step provided on the contact spring. SOLUTION: A switching mechanism 18 has a contact terminal plate 16 provided on a body 11, a contact spring 15 provided 011 the body 11 for switching operation by the contact or separation of the contact terminal plate 16, an elastic body 19 held between the contact spring 15 and the contact terminal plate 16 to relax noise generated when the contact spring 15 collides with the contact terminal plate 16 and a step provided on the contact spring 15 to push the elastic body 19 against the body 11.
