Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to prevent that a smelted material is solidified, when flowing on a spout for the smelted material, and automatically remove the solidified smelted material without using a man power. SOLUTION: This method for cleaning a smelted material comprises making a hot air curtain 10 in a temperature range of about 40 deg.C to about 500 deg.C at a place near to the opening 2 of the oven bottom portion of a chemical agent- recovering boiler having a spout for the smelted material, shutting the flow of cold air into the oven to control the cooling of the smelted material 4, and thermally melting and flowing down the solidified smelted material adhered to the smelted material-flowing surface of the spout for the smelted material.
