VIBRATING CONVEYOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibrating conveyor capable of easily adjusting the supply. SOLUTION: An opening is formed in the conveying surface of a trough 11 of a vibrating conveyor 1, and a gate plate 16 which is in contact with the bottom face 11B of the trough 11 to be able to move in the direction of conveyance and the downstream side edge end of which is inclined to the crosswise direction of the trough 11, is provided. The gate plate 16 is mounted so that the opening width W and the opening area S of the opening can be stepwise changed due to its position. The position of the gate plate 16 is shifted to a position which is determined depending on the kind, etc., of articles P supplied, by utilizing ten graduated projected parts 24 formed on a stroke plate 23 attached to the gate plate, and a proximity sensor 26 for detecting the approach of the gate plate. The article P are separated into articles which are dropped into the opening, and articles which are conveyed on the gate plate 16 to pass through the opening, and then to be supplied from the downstream end to the following process, and thus the quantity of supply can be adjusted.
