SMALL VESSEL WITH FIRE EXTINGUISHING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically extinguish an engine fire by providing a protruding part on the upper lid of an engine room to house a fire extinguishing device, and protruding a temperature sensor and an injection nozzle from a fixing plate fixed to the upper lid reverse side in such a manner as to be attachable and detachable. SOLUTION: The center part of an upper lie 1 openable and closable through a hinge 5 of an engine room 4 is protruded to form a housing part 2, and a fire extinguishing device 3 is housed in the housing part 2. The reverse side in which the fire extinguishing device 3 is housed is covered with a fixing plate 6. The fixing plate 6 has a hole, and a temperature sensor 7 for detecting a high temperature by a fire and an injection nozzle 8 for injecting a fire extinguishing agent are protruded from the hole. A cushioning material is preferably filled in the space within the housing part 2. When the temperature is abnormally raised by a fire, the high temperature is detected by the temperature sensor 7, and the fire extinguishing agent is injected from the injection nozzle 8 to extinguish the fire.
