CAMERA DISCRIMINATING DEVICE AND IMAGE MONITOR SYSTEM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need to constitute a time and labor consuming, interface between, specially, an image monitor device and a computer which displays a plant facilities monitor screen in an image monitor device and an image monitor system using the device for inspecting and monitoring plant facilities. SOLUTION: This device switches videos supplied form 16 television cameras 1 to 16 by a video switching device 17b in an image monitor device 17 and outputs their video signals to a monitor screen display device 21 and an image recording device 22 constituted by a personal computer. At this time, identification representations such as camera numbers added by an image processor 20 are recognized by using a neural network and information thereon is supplied to the monitor screen display device 21 and image recording device 22 to enable the monitor screen display device 21 and image recording device 22 to easily determine by which of the video cameras 1 to 16 a video signal inputted through the video switching device 17b is photographed.
