PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounting terminal base, capable of surely soldering connection pins to a circuit board with light solder amount. SOLUTION: In a surface-mounting terminal base 3, a plurality of connection terminal pins 6 for external circuit connection are arranged on the support portion 5a of an insulative base portion 5. The connection terminal pins 6 are provided with nearly U-shaped bending portions 6b on their mounting end portions, and linear fitting portions 6a are formed at the tip portions of the bending portions 6b. The fitting portions 6a of the connection terminal pins 6 are formed in a direction orthogonal to axis portions 6c. The bending portions 6b of the respective connection terminal pins 6 are bending formed in the same direction along the arrangement direction of the connection terminal pins 6.
