MANUFACTURE OF ABSORBER FOR ABSORPTIVE ARTICLE AND ABSORPTIVE ARTICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorber which has an excellent three-dimensional shape and has high absorptivity and can effectively prevent liquid leakage by forming a specific groove part in a pulp layer formed as a specific laminated structure by compressing it in specific order. SOLUTION: An absorber 1 is composed of a layout sheet 5, a first pulp layer 2 which has the almost same dimension as the layout sheet 5 and is formed on the layout sheet 5, a second pulp layer 3 which is formed on it and has the area smaller than the first pulp layer 2 and absorbent paper 8 arranged so as to cover both pulp layers 2 and 3. The first pulp layer 2 is substantially formed in a longitudinally long tongue piece shape, and in the second pulp layer 3, the front part 1a side is formed into a lower piece shape, and the rear part 1b side is formed into a trignauglar shape. A closed-shaped groove part 4 is formed over the whole periphery on the inside more than its peripheral edge in the second pulp layer 3 by strongly compressing pulp fiber or the like together with heat, and a position corresponding to the groove part 4 on an upper surface of the first pulp layer 2 is formed into a recessed shape corresponding to the groove part 4.
