Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fire due to overheat at the peripheral part or burn due to touch thereat by monitoring abnormal temperature rise at each part around each burner of a gas cooking appliance thereby controlling combustion of gas. SOLUTION: Temperature sensors 14 are fixed previously to a plurality of measuring points A1-A5 on the periphery of a gas cooker 1. Temperature measured by the temperature sensors 14 is compared with each reference temperature stored in a memory means and when the measured temperature exceeds the reference temperature, main valve of each burner 5a, 5b, 5c and 6 is blocked. Consequently, abnormal temperature rise can be monitored at each part around each burner and fire due to overheat at the peripheral part or burn due to touch thereat can be prevented by controlling combustion of gas.
