Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the kinds of terminals used in an electrofusion joint comprising the resistances for identification buried in the terminals, by respectively providing a pair of terminals with one of a plurality of kinds of resistances for identification having the different resistance values. SOLUTION: One of three kinds of resistances 22 for identification having the different resistance values is buried in each terminal of a pair of terminals in an electrofusion joint 21 comprising a coiled heating wire buried in a joint surface to a plastic pipe. The switches 27a, 27b are ON-OFF controlled by a microcomputer 26 in a controller 25, the voltage generated by the current for inspection flown to the resistance 22 for identification is amplified by an amplifier 28 for measuring the resistance for identification, and A/D converted to be input to the microcomputer 26. Then the table relative to the combination of the resistance value of the resistance 22 for identification and the fusing condition is read out from a memory 32 to retrieve the fusing condition, and ON-OFF control a switch 31.
