SOLUTION: This is a shock absorber made by bundling at least three or more hollow rod-shaped body formed of material having a bending modulus of not less than 5000 kgf/cm , which absorbs shock energy by buckling deformation of a hollow rod-shaped body, and is structured in such a way that a reaction-compressibility curve satisfies the condition that yield strength is not less than 100 tf/m and a compression energy absorbing capacity per unit volume is not less than 50 tf.m/m , when the cylindrical body is longitudinally compressed. |
