Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set lower end of a transom above a draft line to reduce wave- making-resistance with keeping an impeller under water during stopping of a pump part, by separating a nozzle from the pump part, placing it above the pump part, and communicating them through a channel. SOLUTION: An intake 3 is opened in a ship's bottom 2, and a channel 6 is formed on the way to a nozzle 5. An impeller 10 is placed in this channel 6, and a shaft 11 is connected with a shaft 21 of a prime mover 20 through flanges 12a, 12b. In the channel 6, a part between the impeller 10 and the nozzle 5 is bent into substantially S-shape, and the central axis C1 position of the nozzle 5 is above the central axis C2 position of the impeller 10. The central axis C2 position of the impeller 10 is almost matched to a draft line L, and substantially lower half of the impeller 10 is set under water during stopping of a ship. In addition, by almost matching lower end B of a transom 4 to the draft line L, the transom 4 is kept above water and wave-making-resistance is reduced. |
