DENTIFRICE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition having high cleaning effect and low abrasive property and suppressed in development of astringency and metallic taste, improved in feeling to uses and useful as a tooth paste, etc., by adding wax such as lanolin to a composition comprising a condensed phosphate, etc., and a water-soluble transition metal compound. SOLUTION: This dentifrice composition contains a dentifrice composition comprising (A) one or more salts selected from condensed phosphate, hydrogencarbonate and hydrogensulfate (e.g. sodium pyrophosphate, sodium hydrogencarbonate or sodium hydrogensulfate) and (B) a water-soluble transition metal compound (e.g. copper gluconate or manganese chloride) and (C) one or more kinds of waxes selected from lanolin and its derivative, spermaceti, carnauba wax, candelilla wax and beeswax, preferably in ratio of 1-40 wt.% component A, 0.2-2 wt.% component B and 0.3-5 wt.% component C based on whole composition.
