TRAFFIC GUIDANCE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform traffic guidance in a detailed manner during long travel to a destination by acquiring information from a host computer based on destination information to an information providing terminal, showing it on an information terminal and also outputting it to a portable information terminal. SOLUTION: Various information that is destination information of customers are inputted to an inputting means of an information providing terminal 1. The information is sent to a host computer 201. The computer 201 retrieves or typically creates guidance map information and a typical guidance information which are preliminarily stored based on the destination information and returns them to the terminal 1. The terminal 1 shows the information to customers and on the other hand, it sends back the information to a portable information terminal 101 that is carried by a customer in accordance with the customer's request. The customer stores the information in the terminal 101, also calls out the stored information from the inputting means and outputs it.
