ROTATION TRANSMITTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation transmitting device with an electronic apparatus having an opening and closing lid and a small number of part items, and easy to assemble, very thin and low-cost. SOLUTION: This rotation transmitting device is equipped with a drive gear 13 furnished internally with a cam accommodating recess 14, cam locating ribs 16 and shaft hole 15, a transmitting gear 17 furnished with a shaft 18 and hook 19, a cam 20 furnished with a lock part 21 accommodated in the recess 14 and pinched by the rubs 16, a hook fitting part 22 to be fitted on the hook 19 and a hook loose fit part 23 in circular shape continued to the hook fitting part 22, and a spring 25 to apply a force within the recess 14 in such a direction that the lock part 21 of the cam 20 is pressed to the ribs 16, whereby relative rotation is generated when the relative torque between the drive gear 13 and transmitting gear 17 is large so that transmission of the torque does not take place.
