INK JET RECORDER AND RECORDING HEAD CONTROL METHOD USING THE RECORDER

SOLUTION: A recording head 11 is reciprocated in the transverse direction of recording paper by the action of a motor 16. The movement of the recording head 11 is controlled by a driving pulse outputted from a carriage control circuit 47. The recording of the recording head 11 is performed by a periodic recording timing signal outputted from a recording timing generating circuit 45. Therefore, the outputting cycle of the recording timing signal can be fixed without depending on the driving pulse.
