Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To upgrade the impact resistance and also the resistance to chemicals of a resin member and make it hardly become flawed and stained by forming a vitreous layer on the surface of a plastic base material. SOLUTION: The resin member 1 has a vitreous layer 3 formed on the surface of a plastic base material 2. The vitreous layer 3 is of a water-repellent glass such as frit, glaze or a fluoride, based on silica. The vitreous layer 3 is formed using a gas deposition process (gas stacking process). Consequently, the temperature need not be high and the vitreous layer 3 can be formed on a base material with a low heat resistance, when the vitreous layer 3 is formed on the surface of the plastic base material 2. Thus it is possible to upgrade the impact resistance and the resistance to chemicals of the resin member 1 and make it hardly become flawed and contaminated and further manufacture the resin member at a low cost with the reduction of its weight. |
