PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve precision of data secrecy, to provide efficient data transmission by facsimile equipment and to provide a small-sized facsimile adapter by collating a secret code, a specific code inputted to an information carrier in advance and a password code. SOLUTION: A timing detection part decides whether or not a signal is an information reception terminal activation signal and turns on a relay 15 and a relay 17 when it is the information reception terminal activation signal. Then, it is decided whether information report is the one from a specific transmitter or the one from a sender other than that by detecting whether or not there is a sender number information signal by a secret data detection means 24. Then, a secret code in a received signal, a password code of a receiver and a specific code inputted to an information carrier are collated to one another by a collation part 27. Only when all three coincide with one another, a reception signal can be impressed and secrecy of reception information can be more precisely protected.
