Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a heating control by employing a power generation by use of feed water. SOLUTION: This hot water heater is comprised of a heat exchanger 2, a heating means 3 for heating the heat exchanger 2, a gas supplying pipe 9 for supplying fuel to the heating means 3, a water feeding pipe 1 arranged in the heat exchanger 2, a hot water feeding pipe 5 connected to the water feeding pipe 1, a water plug 16 arranged at the hot water feeding pipe 5, a heating control part 14 for controlling the heating means 3 and the gas supplying pipe 9, and a power generating means 17 arranged at the water feeding pipe 1. In this case, there is provided means for adjusting a cross sectional area across the water feeding pipe 1 to which the power generating means 17 is fixed and then its cross sectional area is reduced.
