Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make die casting possible and increase productivity because cylinder liner portion consists of composite material of Al alloy and at least inorganic balloon and the internal space of the inorganic balloon is also filled with the Al alloy and also to realize low cost in terms of material because the inorganic balloon is used as a framework component. SOLUTION: Glass balloon, alumina/silicafiver, mullite particles, and frit as inorganic binder are mixed, and the mixture is put in a popper 5d of an extrusion molding machine 5 and extrusion-molded, and a cylindrical perform, for example, of 138 mm in length, 95.1 mm in outside diameter, and 3.8 in wall thickness is made. The essential volume of the framework component of this preform is, for example, 16%. This preform is then set in a die-cast machine and die-casted. The wall thickness of the composite material obtained is reduced to 1.8 mm. The surface of this composite material is cut and then honed.
