Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bellows type actuator capable of making its effective stroke longer. SOLUTION: Each bellows part 5 interposed between an upper and a lower supporting plate 2 and 3 is formed out of a plurality of ring bodies 4 made out of foamed material. The adjacent ring themselves 4 are alternately joined in such a way that each inner circumferential periphery 4a is piled up to each outer circumferential periphery 4b. Since each ring body 4 consisting of each bellows part 5 is made out of foamed material, no distortion takes place when the ring bodies are stretched. Therefore, since deformation due to the distortion prevents the length of a stroke from being restricted, the length of the effective stroke can thereby be kept long.
