SOLUTION: This coloroprene latex is obtained by polymerizing 100 pts.wt. of chloroprene or chloroprene and a monomer copolymerizable with chloroprene and 0.5-10 pts.wt. of an ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid in the presence of 0-10 pts.wt. of a glycol ether and 0.5-10 pts.wt. of a polyvinyl alcohol having 60-85 mol.% saponification degree.
