VERTICALLY TRANSPORTING SYSTEM AND TRANSPORTING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertically transporting system in which the transporting efficiency with automatically guided carriages is enhanced. SOLUTION: Each lifter gauge 11 is equipped with an upper 12a and a lower linear track 12b so that two automatically guided carriages 5 can be accommodated. The lower linear track 12a is empty at normal times, and receives running of a loaded carriage 5 with usual goods. On the upper linear track 12b, an empty carriage 5 is places as standby buffer and dispatched when a call is given, for example from stations 3f/3g. When the empty carriage 5 on the upper track 12a has gone for the above reason, etc., the lifter gauge 11 is filled with another empty carriage 5 in standby on a standby rail 15.
