Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door frame structure for an automobile, capable of effectively actualizing the simplification of a structure and the strengthening of rigidity. SOLUTION: The upper part of a door main body is integrally combined together so as to form a window frame, and a weather strip is laid along the inner side of the peripheral part. A door frame comprises two parts composed of an outer panel 11, and an inner panel 12 integrally joined together. A weather strip holding channel part 13 is formed up by making use of one part of the inner panel 11. The inner panel 11 is bent and formed into a specified cross sectional shape so as to form the channel part 13, and the channel part 13 is folded and piled up so as to be formed up at the joint part of the door main body and a door frame. The folded and piled-up portion is formed up so as to be swallowed in the inner side of the door inner panel of the door main body.
