Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate and quicken assembling work by turning a fixing member while abutting against an abutting part thereby assembling even a large and heavy fixing member easily while reducing labor. SOLUTION: A plurality of optical writing units are juxtaposed vertically between front and rear side plates 120, 122 while being partitioned by stays secured between the front and rear side plates 120, 122. A fixing member 4 is fixed between respective side plates 120, 122 and the stay is also secured to the fixing member 4. The fixing member 4 is supported while abutting, at the lower end thereof, against an abutting part 12 comprising a guide plate 14 an a protrusion 16 formed on the front and rear side plates 120, 122, respectively. When the fixing member 4 is turned in the L-shape direction, a lower positioning part 122a is engaged with a lower engaging part 8d1 , and an upper positioning part 122b is engaged with an upper engaging part 8d2 sequentially and positioned. Subsequently, it is secured to the rear side plate.
