Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow supervisory personnel to set an accurate state judgment in the broad area remote supervisory system that employs communication channels such as public lines. SOLUTION: The system has pluralities of distributed plants 10 each having a data collection function 11 that collects an instantaneous value of various data and a data transmission function 12 that sends the data collected by the data collection function 11 in a prescribed cycle, also has a central supervisory center 20 provided with a data reception function 21 that receives various data sent from the data transmission function 12, a communication delay supervisory function 24 that supervises whether or not the data reception function 21 receives the data in a prescribed cycle and provides an output of an unreliable display when reception of data is delayed, and a display function 22 that displays the data received by the data reception function 21 and the unreliable display outputted from the communication delay supervisory function 24 on a supervisory screen and has a public line 30 interconnecting the plants 10 and the central supervisory center 20.
