METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INPUTTING IMAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a uniform image without the difference of lightness and darkness as a whole when linking images photographed by plural cameras into one and outputting it as a new image. SOLUTION: When linking images respectively inputted from the same photographing object through plural line sensor cameras 10 fixed at prescribed positions into one and outputting it to a CRT monitor 16, correction coefficients to the respective pixels of respective cameras are previously found so as to eliminate the difference of lightness and darkness as a whole concerning the images provided by the plural cameras 10 while photographing a reference white board 18. In the case of inputting images from the photographing object, this correction coefficient is multiplied to the luminance value of each pixel of each correspondent camera 10 and the image is outputted.
