Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller for keeping a built-in battery for a long time by surely transmitting a remote control signal even in the case of unmanned operation, by switching a light emitting method for the remote controller in the cases of manual operation and unmanned operation. SOLUTION: A manned mode and an unmanned mode are provided and in the case of the unmanned mode, the light emitting intensity of the remote control signal is made stronger than the case of the manned mode. In the case of the manned mode, since a user uses the remote controller while directing it toward equipment to be controlled, the target is not considerably missed and ordinary light emitting intensity is sufficient. In the case of the unmanned mode for operating the remote controller without any person, on the other hand, it is difficult to install the remote controller while directing it toward the target equipment to be controlled. In this case, the intensity of light emission is strengthened rather than the time of the manned mode. Therefore, probability to properly reach the remote control signal can be improved even in a little deviated direction toward the target equipment to be controlled.
