Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing a hole-less cast-on-strap joint for a lead-acid battery, and more specifically, a device for cleaning and chemically activating a plurality of plate lug surfaces. SOLUTION: This device includes a supersonically stirred flux container 10, a supersonically stirred rinse container 14, and a gas ejecting device 17 housed in a dust collecting container 18. Each container can be independently moved in the vertical direction, all the three containers 10, 14, 18 are mounted on a common support frame 20, and the support frame 20 can move the containers 10, 14, 18 simultaneously in the horizontal direction. Plate lug brushing operation and liquid-flux film formation on the brushed plate lugs, implemented in common in the second station of a usual cast-on-strap machine are replaced with other means by the use of this device.
