Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolyte the fuel cell, high in reactivity in gas electrode reaction and excellent in power generating efficiency, by making it easy for gas to reach three-phase interfaces. SOLUTION: In an annular cell 1, comprising a fuel pole on one side, and an air cell on the other side, of a solid electrolyte type fuel cell, with a solid electrolyte, at least, interposed therebetween, the gas flowing inside the annular cell 1 is caused to have a revolving flow. Centrifugal force is given to the gas by causing the gas flowing inside the annular cell to have the revolving flow. Because the centrifugal force acts perpendicularly on an inner wall of the cell, the gas easily invades into the interior of an electrode and can reach three-phase interfaces. As a result, the fuel cell exhibits excellent power generating performance.
