Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of voltage performance of a fuel cell at the start-up in when the temperature of the fuel cell is raised. SOLUTION: Cathode electrodes 1, anode electrodes 4, and support members 9 are prevented from corroding due to mixed salts (or eutectic salts) by oxide films formed on them by controlling the oxygen concentration on the cathode side so as to increase it to more than a fixed value when the temperature of a stack is raised, and therefore battery performance of a fuel cell 10 can maintain constant power performance over a long period of time.
