METHOD FOR REPRODUCING AND CONTROLLING SCRATCHED DISK IN COMPACT DISK PLAYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for reproducing and controlling a scratched disk in a CD player that can successively continue reproduction by quickly and securely moving a pickup to a position across a flaw even when the flaw that covers a wide range or cannot be recognized as a track exists on the CD. SOLUTION: When a pickup jumps a track for moving to an inner-periphery side due to a flaw on a CD during reproduction, a flaw jump due to the track jump of the pickup is tried by a fixed number of times, and a traverse motor is forcibly driven for forcibly moving the pickup to a position across the flaw of an outer-periphery side, thus continuing reproduction across the flaw.
