COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color filter, where respective coat films invariably free of stripe formation and thickness unevenness can be formed regardless of the constituent materials and installation positions of marks for management and a coating means for the respective color filter coat films. SOLUTION: The color filter has, on a color filter substrate, a matrix type light shield part, a filter formation part consisting of red, blue, and green filters, and marks 31 to 33 which are installed corresponding to the filter formation part, and the light shielding part, red filter, blue filter, and green filter are formed in order by coating. The respective corner parts of the marks 31 to 33 for management and the respective corner parts of the light shielding part at the outermost periphery constituting the filter formation part are made arcuately and the radii of curvature of the arcuate parts are set so as to be equal to or layer then 50 μm.
