OUTDOOR UNIT FOR AIR-CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve installation workability and draining ability, by a method wherein a drain pan receiving condensate from the upper part of a lower outdoor unit and additionally functioning as a top plate is arranged at the upper part of a lower outdoor unit when a plurality of outdoor units are vertically laminated together, and the upper outdoor unit is fixed at a drain pan. SOLUTION: When an upper outdoor unit 2 is arranged in a superposed state on an lower outdoor unit 1, a drain pan 3 receiving condensate from an upper outdoor unit 2 and additionally functioning the top plate of the lower outdoor unit 1 is disposed at the upper part of the lower outdoor unit 1. In this case, the drain pan 3 is fixed by fastening tools 7 at the upper end part of a stay 5 having a lower end part supported at stay mounting fitments 6, and arranged at the front and the rear and the right and the left of a bottom plate 4 of the lower outdoor unit 1. Leg parts 8 arranged at a bottom plate 4 of the upper outdoor unit 2 are fixed from a front by a fastening tool 9. Further, a front panel 10 being a unit strength part is mounted on the front part of the outdoor units 1 and 2.
