SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical composition for promotion of thermogenesis and/or treatment and/or prevention for lowering of thermogenetic function is obtained by including 4-chloro-5-[(4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazol-2-yl)-amino]-6- methoxy-2-methylpyrimidine of the formula and its acid addition salt.
