Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a base paper end from coming off from a splicer head by providing a paper splicing preparation time resisting means, which applies resistance preventing a new base paper end part from coming off from the splicer head when the new base paper is fed in a paper splicing preparation time. SOLUTION: When it is determined that a base paper diameter is large, resistance lower than a braking force based on a holding brake in an ordinary operation time is applied to the rotation of base paper 20. When it is determined that a base paper diameter is small, left and right brakes are opened so as not apply excessive tension to a leading part of the base paper 20, so that the base paper 20 is prevented from coming off from a splicer head (head) 8. According to the dimension of a size of the base paper diameter, braking force to the rotation of the base paper 20 is regulated, so that rotational resistance generating no sag when the head 8 is shifted for splicing is applied to the base paper 20 in compliance with rotational moment generated in the base paper 20 on the basis of the paper diameter. The base paper 20 is stably conveyed to a paper splicing position without removing its end part from the head. |
