Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for making an access from a communication equipment to a subscriber's data, and to enable a subscriber to make indirect access to an exchange unit. SOLUTION: A bidirectional data link is established between communication equipment 3, 3', and 3" and a connected data computer 5 through exchange units 2, 2', and 2" and an on-line data network 6. Then, communication data related to communication terminals or other communication terminals 3, 3', and 3" connected with the exchange units 2, 2', and 2" are retrieved, and/or a service from a network operator is requested.
