SHEATH FOR ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheath for endoscope capable of securing a satisfactory visual field in the state of being attached to the insertion part of the endoscope. SOLUTION: This sheath 21 is constituted of a hood part 25, which covers the tip part of the insertion part 11 of the endoscope and is provided with strength by increasing sheath thickness to be a tip projection part extending to the front of the direction of an insertion axis from the tip face of the part 11, an insertion part cover part 26 improving flexibility and adhesion by reducing sheath thickness in continuity with this part 25 and covering to the base tip side of the insertion part, and a tip face covering part 27 positioned at the middle part of the inner hole of the part 25, covering the tip face 11a of the part 11 of the endoscope 10 and formed vertically with respect to the direction of the insertion axis. The hood part 25 constituting the tip part of the sheath 21 secures an observing visual field by preventing a visual field from being obstructed because a cavity is covered with the part 27.
