Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe wiping mat in which the dust removing property is improved as well as maintaining the duct collecting property by making a single fiber of at least part of thermoplastic synthetic fiber constituting a pile yarn be an asymmetric form and have a modified cross-section that is also a mass eccentric form so as to allow the fineness to fall into a specific range of deniers. SOLUTION: The fineness of a single fiber is made to be 10-2,000 denier. A plurality of single fibers 4 are arranged and composed to make a pile yarn 2. The pile yarn 2 is forcibly pressed into the inside of a box cylinder, cooled down, and taken out. The pile yarn 2 is given a mechanical crimping process to be imparted random crimping and zigzag crimping. Then, the pile yarn 2 is cut-likely or loop-likely tufted on one side of a ground fabric 1 to form a pile yarn. After the completion of tufting, the surface of the opposite side of the ground fabric 1 is precoated by an ethylene-vinyl acetate resin or the like, and a rubber sheet 3 is glued thereto. The gluing process is executed in a pressurized model with heat and pressure so that the rubber sheet 3 and the base cloth 1 given tufting can be integrated into one body to give a shoe wiping mat. |
