SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BRIDGING TELEPHONE NETWORK TO PACKET NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for bridging between a POST network and a packet network such as internet. SOLUTION: A bridge 140 for adjusting the transfer of information between the POS network 110 and packet network 120 is provided. This bridge 140 includes a communication management object, a payload object which transfers payload information between a system and a payload subnetwork of a 1st communication network, a signal object which transfers signal information between the system and the said signal subnetwork according to a signal protocol relating to the signal subnetwork, and a packet object which transfers payload information and address information between the system and a 2nd communication network according to a communication network relating to the 2nd communication network.
