Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the exchange of data between a notebook-sized personal computer and desktop personal computer or between two personal computers which are placed at the places remote from each other by using a USB/PCMCIA exchange controller to perform the exchange of data between the data on a USB(universal serial bus) interface and the data on a PCMCIA interface. SOLUTION: The USB connectors 11a and 11b perform the input/output of data via a USB interface of a desktop personal computer. A USB controller 12 controls the exchange of data for the USB interface. An HD connector 13 performs the input/output of data via a PCMCIA interface of a notebook- sized personal computer. Then the controller 12 controls the exchange of data for the PCMCIA interface. A USB/PCMCIA exchange controller 16 performs the exchange of data between the data on the USB interface and the data on the PCMCIA interface.
